James Allen Nelson

James Allen Nelson has a D. Min from the Graduate Theological Foundation, is an ordained pastor and served churches for nearly 30 years, he is currently retired. He wrote the book, Where Would Jesus Put the Sidewalks: A Study of Faith and Politics. Nelson has also written multiple magazine and newspaper articles, had a regular op-ed column on “Faith and Politics” that appeared in several newspapers for 12 years, and was the Editor of the Wesleyan Christian Advocate, which was the Newspaper for United Methodist in Georgia. Nelson has taught multiple classes on Spirituality, and led numerous workshops. He is also a commissioned presenter of the “Introduction to Centering Prayer Workshop” for Contemplative Outreach, LTD.
